The frunk on these seems small compared to F150. Fast Lane Truck did a video on it and there was some talk there that maybe the frunk was not in its final design. I know everything is still way early but anyone know any more? There looks to be some removalable pancels on side of frunk and a indent in the back. I am not sure what either is there for - maybe there will be more storage on the sides under hood My use case is unique but for me - the front trunk is 90% of the reason to buy. As a landlord in the city i need a jack-of-all trades worth of tools but cant park a heavy duty truck where i own houses.

I doubt it will change much before production. They put HVAC components and some other miscellaneous stuff up in those sides to free up more room in the cabin. More front trunk space (beyond a couple tenths of a cubic foot) would require a pretty major redesign IMO.

Thanks.. The math really comes down to how many Milwaukee packouts can fit in there which I am sure will not be known for a while.

I've seen speculation that it will be close to the Hummer's 9 cubic feet, which seems reasonable given they share a platform, but on the livestream they just did, they still didn't have any numbers they wanted to share.

that makes sense. That could also result in a smaller length truck compared to F150 or maybe that space in the cabin which wouldn't be bad either.

I think it goes into the cab, would like to know the wheel base compared to the ford, guessing it it bigger.

During the livestream this week, they said the extra space from a smaller front was added to the back seat of the cab. They bragged it had more back seat room than the Lightning. Which I sat in on a Lightning Tour and it was massive in the back seat. So I am excited about this aspect in the Silverado.

The frunk should be able to hold at least 2 full sized set of golf clubs as shown in a Ford. Secure out of sight storage will be a big selling point of any ev truck. Will it fit a folded electric bike like the many 20"tire folding fat e-bikes? I could charge my bike baterries while out in the wild also. Might need an inverter.
